Geometric Rugs

A rug with different compartments, a rug with lines, a radiant rug, art and figurative. This is how we can best describe a geometric rug, but what do these characteristics mean in your interior? Or rather why should you bring geometric rugs into your home at all? Frequently asked questions that will be explained. Curious already? Then read on.

A geometric rug is art!

Geometry comes from ancient Greek art, which is known for its abstract art forms. Here, geometric shapes are mainly used. Nowadays, this abstract art form is used everywhere including in an area rug. In practice, this means beautiful designs that stand out strongly on an area rug. For example, squares, rectangles, circles and triangles come out well on a geometric rug. So much so that sometimes an abstract rug is created!

Rug geometric is the mood creator at home

To brighten up our interiors, we look for home accessories that have something extra to offer. Rugs with geometric designs are a great example. They are the Leonardo Da Vinci of rugs. So for a real mood creator in your home, you can't beat a geometric rug. Features that belong to this design are the straight lines in the shapes. These fit well with interiors that also consist mainly of straight lines, as does a zig zag rug. There is also a graphic rug, which is characterised by prints and designs that are digitally shaped. Graphical rugs practically come straight from the design table!

What about the colours of a rug with a geometric design?

Of course, rugs with a geometric design are colourful. The different shapes often feature a different colour. The colour transitions between the abstract shapes make a design shine in an interior. For the environment, an area rug with a geometric design means positivity, attractiveness and cheerfulness. Popular colours that recur with a geometric rug are light blue and olive green. A light blue rug radiates tranquillity and an olive green rug has a relaxing effect.

Geometric rugs are designer rugs

People often look for rugs with designs. With geometric rugs, designs come out well, where the designs are thoughtful and even include a bit of maths! Design rugs are generally popular. Popular designer rugs are floral rugs where the flowers brighten up an interior. Are you looking for more allure and luxury in your home? Then take a look at our art deco rugs!
